This is one hilarious movie!

I just loved Jim Carrey’s character, the before and after. He was just so committed to his desolation and after being convinced to say “yes” just as committed to saying it EVERY TIME!

It had the same feel as Liar Liar but with the character being on the opposite pole.

Zooey Deschanel, as always was zany but sweet. I thought she looked a little aged in this film, though (probably to match with Jim Carrey who’s 18 years her senior.) She again showed her singing prowess in this film, but did not at all look tacky, unlike other singer/actresses.

Carrey did a bit of singing himself, and although that did made me cringe a little – it can easily be forgiven.

I would definitely say YES to watching this movie! It’s worth it.
