I don’t know why I always get suckered into watching Jack Black’s movies – but there’s just something about the guy… Plus, Michael Cera (Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist) was also in this film, so I thought maybe it will be a lot different than Tenacious D Pick of Destiny.

Well, it was different but not a lot. Although, there were some funny parts in there done by a good number of the casts and cameos – there was just something missing.

It was like several different comedy sketches stitched together. It didn’t gel… and yet, it was still predictable.

I could hardly keep my eyes on it.

Maybe next time Jack Black and Michael Cera can do a movie where they don’t have to be dumb and lazy people. It’s just getting a little old.
