It’s a movie about two strangers who meet in a Las Vegas hotel and share a great night together. From the start they already clashed except for that one booze-filled night – they connected. Only to wake up with wedding rings on their fingers! Annulment would have been their only agenda, if only $3M weren’t in their way.

Needless to say, neither of them would let the money go and ended up in court. Only to get the tables turned – by having the judge order to make their “marriage” work for 6 months or neither of them will ever get their hands on a cent of that money.

There really wasn’t anything new about the story; it was very predictable how somebody who appears to be at each other’s throats slowly develop to actually like each other.

The movie was kind of reminiscent of another Ashton Kutcher movie – Just Married. It had the same clash and antics. Although, I didn’t feel too much of a spark between the two characters, or maybe Cameron and Ashton just don’t go well together.

However, I did enjoy watching Cameron Diaz and Ashton race to get to their marriage counselor. (Queen Latifah as marriage counselor, though? Her talents were wasted there.)

If you’re just looking for something funny to waste your time with, this will fit right in.
