Spiderman 3

This much anticipated chapter to the Spider-man trilogy sort of fades in comparison with other upcoming movies, such as Pirates of the Caribbean, Shrek and my personal favorite Harry Potter. At least, in my own opinion.
However, this chapter was a lot more interesting as it showed the darker side to Spider-man/Peter Parker. I wasn’t moved by all the drama though, I thought it was a little too soap opera-ish for my taste. I did feel bad about how his uncle died and how it was totally accidental.
I liked how they played the villains as by-products of misfortune and not inherently out for mayhem.
I just didn’t quite get how Mary Jane could possibly kiss Harry. Was she that weak?
The movie does give you a bit of a jolt from all that drama, when Peter turns emo, with matching eye make-up and hair to one side for effect. All that bravado just doesn’t suit him, but it makes for good comedy. And by the way, my favorite part of the movie.
