Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist

Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist - Poster

Michael Cera is yet again an awkward teen (what else is new!)

Although, it may look like he’s been stereotyped as such, you just can’t help but like him. He’s just that endearing.

The story centers on a heartbroken guitarist hopelessly trying to win back his ex, by sending her mix CDs. And a nonchalant music mogul’s daughter who is secretly admiring that guy who keeps coming up with the great mixes (that she will even pick out off the trash.)

They somehow meet and are stuck together. They try to make something spark (to the delight of their peers and the paranoia of a certain ex.) The story happens all in one night, travelling around New York – in search for Fluffy, an elusive band that everybody in the story seem to be into.

This is the type of movie that kind of just rides on the coattails of cool music – but never really delivers anything but fluff.

It’s fun to watch, if you’re an angst-filled teen and into indie music. Or, if you simply can’t get enough of Michael Cera.
