This is yet another film adaptation of a bestselling book. Maybe I’ll read it and see which is better.

It’s not a bad movie, but it’s not great, either.

The ensemble cast is good. And I especially liked Jennifer Connelly here she was great. Everybody else was just so-so.

The plot is all about the lives of couples and how the women detect whether men actually are into them or not. The tell-tale signs are dispassionately enumerated and explained by Justin Long’s character to a very naïve Ginnifer Goodwin.

It would probably be a lot more fun to watch with your girlfriends in a slumber party, while you gossip away and degrade each other’s exes.
