Eagle Eye

Shia LaBeouf has become a full blown star and this is another vehicle for him to shine as an action star.
The story is fast paced and will keep you guessing on what exactly is going on. It focuses on two seemingly random individuals, picked out by an unknown woman – forcing them to carry out her plans.
Jerry Shaw (LaBeouf) is a college dropout and an exact opposite of his twin brother Ethan who just died while on duty in the Air Force. And single mom Rachel Holloman (Michelle Monaghan) gets trapped in as well while his son becomes the trigger to the woman’s ultimate plan.
As what you would normally expect with a Spielberg produced film, the plot is good and characters are all well played out.
It’s definitely a movie that you would need to keep your focus on and who wouldn’t – it’s quite gripping and intense.
I am especially glad that they didn’t inject any romance with the leads, and only hinted on it at the very end. That would have heavily marred the movie’s action-packed appeal.
