I’ve been a fan of Ryan Reynolds since I started seeing him in Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place (which unfortunately, got canceled!) He always has that cool, suave, cute-thing going for him.

I’m extra glad that this movie is NOT Van Wilder or even close. The story is a lot more grounded and believable. I mean, it can happen – you CAN sort of stray away from your one true love and still find it back in the end.

The humor here is mild and natural and Ryan Reynold’s character here, as a single dad, is really interesting. It shows how he can have a healthy relationship with his daughter despite the fact that they’re family can’t ever be together again.

The women in his life are played beautifully by Elizabeth Banks (Zack and Miri Make a Porno), Rachel Weisz (The Mummy) and Isla Fisher (Wedding Crashers).

It’s a sweet film about looking for love in the wrong places – definitely worth watching!
