Make Money Writing
Prior to the popularity of the Internet, writing for a living used to be a lot of hard work. Yup, doing research actually meant going to the local library; getting clients actually meant calling on the phone and receiving your salary actually meant picking up your checks. But now, thanks to the widespread use of the world-wide-web, everything happens with a click of a mouse.
Since almost everything is wired up, you can do almost everything online. Chances are your local library probably has a website (well, if not then there’s always Google). Meanwhile you have Skype and email for corresponding with clients via the Internet. And yes, you can receive funds electronically too thru Paypal. It’s so much quicker and easier now, so there’s practically nothing stopping anyone who wants to make money writing online.
It’s not only about convenience that makes it appealing to make money writing on the Internet, but it’s also because it can actually lead to having a passive and steady income stream. Yup, there are online writing opportunities out there that essentially allow you to create your piece of writing once, yet will make you money over and over again.
Not only that, you won’t even have to leave the comfort of your home. Yup, nothing beats earning cash while sitting in your pajamas! And there are lots of ways to make money writing from home. What’s good is that most can be done through free means and low cost methods. But if you’re willing to invest more time and money, then there are of course more massive techniques that can definitely give you bigger and faster return of investment.
The best place to start is with the easiest, and probably the easiest income stream out there is to make money writing blogs. Sign up for a free Blogger account and start writing about things that interest you. The closer a topic is to your heart; the easier it will be to write about.
Once you get a number of articles posted, start plugging in some Google Ad Sense Ads. So what happens is, every time someone clicks on those ads, you get paid. And that’s without selling a thing or doing any marketing stuff. Now you won’t instantly make a ton of money, but the good thing is that your articles are there to stay and if you just continue to build up on your articles, then those clicks can really add up.
Another thing you can try your hand at is to make money writing reviews. A lot of people including myself often read on product reviews first before deciding on purchasing a product. So you can turn that tendency to your favor and make it into an opportunity to earn extra cash.
Think of products that you’ve bought; like books you’ve read, eBooks you’ve downloaded and services that you use. Check out if they offer referral commissions or some sort of an affiliate program and then write your own review about it. Plot out the pros and cons, take pictures, post screen-shots and then include the reason why you yourself bought the product. Add your personal touch and the trick is to make it a balanced and honest review. Chances are, people will find your review credible and will be the catalyst for them to decide and buy the product too.
